You want to manage your subscription or billing settings of your Quenza account but can’t find the settings in your app? In this article, we will explain why this is the case and show you how to manage your subscription or perform payment-related actions within Quenza.
Why can’t I cancel my subscription or change my payment details through the Quenza app?
Both Apple (iOS) and Google (Android) do not allow any subscription or payment-related actions within the Quenza app since the subscription is running outside of their payment system.
E.g. this is what Apple has in their terms regarding this matter:
3.1.3(f) Free Stand-alone Apps: Free apps acting as a stand-alone companion to a paid web based tool (eg. VOIP, Cloud Storage, Email Services, Web Hosting) do not need to use in-app purchase, provided there is no purchasing inside the app, or calls to action for purchase outside of the app.
And for Android it’s the following lines in their policy:
Developers charging for apps and downloads from Google Play must use Google Play’s billing system as the method of payment.
Examples of app features or services requiring the use of Google Play’s billing system include, but are not limited to, in-app purchases of: cloud software and services (such as data storage services, business productivity software, and financial management software). (…)
This is exactly the same reason why you cannot modify or cancel your subscription in popular apps like Netflix or Spotify.
Since Quenza users can use any platform/device to access our service, we can and will not limit ourselves to only giving the option to e.g. use Apple devices only.
How can I manage my subscription or make payment-related actions?
In order to do subscription or payment-related actions, you will need to log in to your Quenza account through the web browser on your desktop/laptop computer.
