What is a BAA?
A Business Associate Agreement is a written arrangement that specifies each party’s responsibilities when it comes to personal health information (PHI). HIPAA requires Covered Entities to only work with Business Associates who assure complete protection of PHI.
How to get a signed BAA
- request our BAA by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Sign the agreement (either digitally or by printing and scanning)
- Email it back to us for a signature from one of our founders
- Store it in your records
