If you have signed up for one of our subscription plans, but then decide that the plan is not quite right for you, here we explain what happens when you switch plans before your current subscription renews.
First thing’s first: you won’t lose any money when you change to a different subscription plan before the end of the billing cycle of your current plan.
When you decide to change your subscription halfway through the monthly billing period, you will be either charged or credited for the prorated amount of the difference in price between the subscription plans.
In other words, we calculate the unused amount of your current subscription and subtract it from the total price of the new subscription.
This means if you upgrade, the amount you have already paid will be subtracted from the price of the new subscription plan.
If you choose to downgrade, you will be credited the difference between the subscription plans resulting in a lower subscription fee for the next month(s). This means you do not get a refund of the difference, but it goes toward the price for the next month’s bill(s).
